CIO receives the Executive Leadership Award from ESRI, 2011

Central Informatics Organisation (CIO) represented by the Directorate of GIS, Has received an Executive Leadership Award in the top three organizations of the world. By the Foundation (ESRI), USA which is a leading global institution responsible for development and provide GIS software in the world, which came during the annual conference, which was held in San Diego, USA, from 9 to 13 July 2011.

CIO received the award from the (ESRI) Chairman Jack Dangermond in a special ceremony attended by more than 15,000 participants from all over the world.

The assessment came for supporting and developing GIS in the Middle East for 15 years and its contribution in developing of GIS locally and abroad, and the Kingdom excellence in vision and management, leadership and resource management, Noteworthy that the institution is based in the USA which is the largest in the world in GIS field and activities cover all continents.
