Dr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Al-Haidan Director of Geographic Information Systems of CIO received the Executive Leadership Award in the top four leaders of the world

Dr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Al-Haidan Director of Geographic Information Systems of CIO received the Executive Leadership Award in the top four leaders of the world, by the Foundation (ESRI), USA which is a leading global institution responsible for development and provide GIS software in the world, that‘s came on the sidelines of the 31st general conference, which was held in San Diego, USA, from 9 to July 15 2011.

Al-Haidan received the award from the (ESRI) Chairman Jack Dangermond in a special ceremony attended by more than 15,000 delegates from all over the world.

The assessment came for supporting and developing GIS in the Middle East for 18 years and his contribution in developing of GIS locally and abroad, and the Kingdom excellence in vision and management, leadership and resource management. Note that the institution based in the USA is the largest in the world in GIS field and delivers activities cover all continents.
