Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Amer CIO President detect the CIO most prominent indicators of performance during the year 2010, pointing to the targets that the Organization enable to achieve, which amounted to about 87%, including the results achieved and exceeded expectations. This came during the speech of Dr. Al Amer in a ceremony organized to honor the distinct employees.
In reviewing of what the CIO had done in 2010 Dr. Al Amer reported that the Organization has developed software technology to increase the speed of printing and issuance of ID cards, was also able to cancel most of the rate of documentation required for completion of requests for auditors of General Directorate of Population Registery and ID Card and increase the speed of delivery the requests, In addition to create websites to enable individuals and institutions to complete their transactions electronically, As well as improving the quality and efficiency of government services by speeding up the process to respond those who request information from the CIO databases.
With regard to Geographic Information Systems, Dr. Al Amer said that the CIO through the Directorate of Geographical Information Systems completed space filming of the Kingdom twice during the year 2010, comparing with the previous years where the filming was about once every 3 years. The CIO President also commended the efforts made by the staff and to develop themselves and make more for the institution that they belong to.
The Director of Human Resources and Finance, Mr. Hisham Ibrahim Al Ghatam delivered a speech noting the staff role confirming that they support the success of any institution. So they deserve the appreciation and gratitude to urge them to do more and motivate other employees to show their behavior, this within the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Bureau.
After that thanks and appreciation certificates were distributed by Dr. Al Amer to the distinct employees, who numbered 57 employees. At the end of the ceremony was announced for the employee who wins the title of Employee of the Year Nayef Mohammed Al Jabri from the Media and Public Relation Section peer continuous efforts and outstanding performance during the year.
For their part, the employees have expressed sincere gratitude to the CIO President for his continuous support to them, and the also thanked the ceremony organizers, the Director of Human Resources and Finance and Media and Public Relations Section headed by the Chief Sheikh Sabah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
