These methods will help CIO accomplish its mission of achieving highest standard of living to all citizens through the provision of comprehensive, accurate secure and timely information and services to support policy and decision making processes.

CIO’s mission stems from the economic vision 2030 of Bahrain which aspires to shift Bahrain from an economy dependent on oil wealth to a productive, globally competitive economy, and for government to embrace the principles of sustainability, competitiveness and fairness to ensure that every Bahraini has the means to live a secure and fulfilling life and reach their full potential. It was necessary to absorb the economic vision and translate it into specific goals and objectives.
