Assuring the diversification of income resources policy, the government is trying to develop tourism elements to attract tourists to the country. A new directorate has been established in the Ministry of Information concerned with tourism and archaeolo.

The government has recognized the importance of cultural development and improvement of media services as an effective tool to enhance public opinion for stronger social unity.
